At Steel Forest Co. we want you to be happy with your table as it is built to last forever. If you decide your prefabricated table does not work for you for any reason we are happy to facilitate a return and refund.
Refunds & Exchanges
Prefabricated Tables
If purchasing a prefabricated table, your purchase is eligible for a refund for 30 days after receiving your table. Tables must be packaged up in their original or equivalent packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Should the table be damaged and require refinishing, a refinishing charge between $300-$500 will be deducted from the total amount. For this reason shipping insurance is highly recommended.
Custom Built Tables
As our custom orders are built to your specifications, we cannot offer refunds if you are not happy with your end product. Because of this we offer mockups of designs before any cutting is done and provide photo and video updates along the way. We strive to do everything we can to ensure you are satisfied with your final piece. We welcome you to come into our workshop and review projects before delivery.
Warranty (local)
In almost all cases, unless otherwise stated, your project piece(s) are covered by our 1 year warranty on any worksmanship or structural defects.
In the unlikely event of a defect, If the issue cannot be fixed on site we will take your piece back at our own expense and fix any issues that arise such as a split/crack, warp, peel or any other issue that is not deemed to be of natural causes or user error.
Any repairs that can be performed on site will be done so. For any major repairs, tables and desks will be picked up and returned to our shop for service. Repairs will be done and your piece will be returned in a timely manner. Loaner tables can be provided in the interim.
Warranty (non-local)
Should the table reside in another province (or country) and shipping the table back is unfeasible, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve the situation using a local craftsman.
